Help 1984 Capri Mclaren Convert What should I ask for it.

I have no idea what to ask for this car. It is a blast to drive but I do not have a place to store anymore. #49 of 50 ....42660.0 original miles Runds great and everything works.

Any help would be great.

5 speed very clean and runs great. Just had carb rebuilt 6 months ago
and air cond. repaired blow cold

Looks like the '86 on Ebay that the seller turned down $6200.00 for and relisted it (Twice now) for a starting bid of $7,000.00! He's 'showing me how it's done.' Hasn't had any interest since. Claimed one sold at Kissimmee for 26K. That was a lie.

Our cars bounce around so much in valuation and actual sales prices that I don't think there's anyone that can give you advice on selling one.

Does the 85 have the master and slave cylinder for the clutch? In other words, is it real easy to push the clutch down? I had to sell an '80 Vette 4 speed because the clutch was a monster in traffic. Tore my knee up.

Ken the fox chassis are cable operated clutch. For the price it's hard to say. I would ask as much as possible and be open to offers. This is the first year production and a 5 speed wich is the rarest I believe. Are the seats in good shape or need redoing. Car looks good!

Be sure and set a reserve price!!! You won't have to accept any bid lower than your reserve, but if you put it up with no reserve and the high bidder is $400.00 HE OWNS IT!

Clutch is easy.

Interior in good condition. does not need recovering.
