YA, IT IS VERY NICE. BUT, I LIKE MINE BETTER BECAUSE IT'S A 25TH SILVER ANNIVERSARY CAR.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO WAS THE MANUFACTURER OF OUR OEM CLOTH TOPS ????

shaolinfox30..... but if you had it...... you'd get like me, OVERNIGHT, And would get paranoid about driving / parking it. 'Ya know, just on this site, how many have gotten into "scrapes" ~ It's only "virgin" once.
Unless you live in a place that's 10 square miles and the popuii is 20 and
nobody drives on Sunday...it WILL absolutely get:

Door Dings
Scrapes, chips off ot's bumper, from "Sound & feel" parkers
possible attempted theft, (smashd door glass)
bumpers, scraped, dinged and you'll lose a center hub or 2 from the wheels, which will make a collection for you of brake dust.

If you live in a highy populated area, overflowing with Nissans,Hyundais, hunDUHs, Toyopets and KIA things, look out. These are disposal cars and their drivers think e'one is like them, buying low priced car & leeasing them.
The mental mind is ....it's not mine - it's leased. I don't care about it, and they certainly d0n't care about yours.

I found all that out when I WAS INTO IMPERIALS. many moons ago.
THAT is why my 3 stay in rented garages or at home.

Sandy, I already AM like YOU! My wife and most of my co-workers and friends just don't get me. "It's only a car" - "wow your car looks clean" "ya but I haven't even washed it yet" - "you love that car more than me" AND THE EVER POPULAR "why did you buy a car that you only drive when it's above 60 deg. outside w/ no chance of rain?"

I had a guy stop me in my old neighborhood and ask me who details my car cause it looks so good. I replied "I detail it. I and only I detail my cars cause I 1. don't trust ANYONE else to be SUPER careful around it and 2. I know i will pay more attention to detail.
From the look on his face I could tell he just didn't understand, nor will he probably ever. On the few occasions when I park it, it goes allllllll the way at the end of the parking lot. I never TAKE IT TO THE MOVIES. NEVER LEAVE IT BOSTON. AND NEVER.. EVER... GO TO A FULL SERVE GAE STATION!!! I only use VERY specific cleaning/shine/polishing products. My wife once said "I can't even picture how you would behave if you bought a brand new car" Hahaha Doesn't really matter to me, I've always babied EVERY vehicle that I have ever owned since my first 82 Firebird then I was 16

I am laughing WITH YOU !! I have heard every one of those, avove AND more ! They all make fun of me.

How much does it bother you, when they joking-like make fun of you ? It really pisses me off !!!!!!!!!!!! But, after years of it, I really do not even "hear" it any longer. I do not pick the tiny stones outta my pedals....yet.... Parking is a nightmare. I ALWAYs park way out yonder;
even in the rain (even with the 2001 Jeep Cherokee Limited 4X4 Wagon, and th D.D. (Daily SHARED driver with 65,000 miles, it is 100% purr-fect.

I never knew that I had a brother !
