85 engine?

Post by 86capri62 »

Hi guys! I was questionning myself about the engine in the 85 vert. Where the 85 with 5 speed transmission had the same holley four barrel engine as the mustang GT of that year. If so, than IMO it is the most desirable.

Engines/Drivetrain for the Capri/Mustangs were always the same, year to year. No differences between the car models.

The 86 EFI 5.0 cars are considered to be slightly more desirable by collectors.

Good for me then! I also like the user friendly attitude of a EFI but the 85 5 speed were fun and powerfull too. I would have like an 84 for rarity and the recaros but the CFI is really not attractive. KenTennis has a real nice car.
