Ok gang,how do you access the Seat Belt Retractor short of getting a Cutting Toarch out.LOL I am wanting to replace the Seat Belts on #1079. They didnt think about that 23 years ago. Tom

You have to remove the panel behind the door to access it.

Did that. It is solid Metal Bracing on a Convertable. Could not see any access to the retractor even if I took out the Convertable Top.

Ouch. In the Coupe it was just behind the plastic panel and removeable with a Torx bit.

It was a major PITA to get that panel off since so many other interior pieces have to come off first. I thought that was your problem.
