Take one for the team! Order one and compare it. I am sure you can return it. Amazon has them for $50. You'd only be out shipping. Or I bet Advance Auto can order it.

I didn't even consider Amazon...... have to check that option out.

That IS NOT the pull down for the screw type latch. 87-90 should have the screw, not the hook. Don't waste your effort. Or money.
I did buy one after someone here - and I knew better - insisted it would work. Wanted to believe it I guess.
The screw pull down mech is pretty much made from unobtainium, no new ones I have found. If you get lucky, and careful, you may be able to rebuild the one you have.
