My thoughts exactly. The car has almost no options. Mine's the same colors with every option that was available. Wonder what you could really buy it for? It also has a factory antenna. The 'rubber ducky' antenna was installed on the drivers rear quarter panel on every other one I've seen!
We have a 92 year old friend that buys a new Corvette every year. On his 2014 he put those same type decals on the sides. Looks like crap. His is bright yellow.
PS: 1/4/2015 He just bought new 2015 Corvette and put the same stupid looking decals on it.

You can take them off a lot more safely with a hair dryer!!
The problem is, if they've been on there a long time the paint under it will be a darker color than the rest of the car. Ditto for any plastic pin striping. Take it off a red car and you have 'ghost pinstripes.' And it only takes a couple years. I have a Ford Expedition that's 6 years old now and the pin stripes are lifting off and crumbling at the edges. The paint under them is quite a bit different in color.
Keep your fingers crossed. I keep saying I should sell it but just can't pull the trigger yet. Getting old but health is good. (76) And it is a blast to drive. Still low miles.
There are a couple little blemishes from the factory where the rear was filled in when the back fenders were done. I think a repair might look worse than the little blemishes. No dents, dings or scratches. Interior great except drivers seat bolster.
Always garaged since I've owned it and I believe even before that. Been rained on twice since 2008.
Have all the owner manuals, top operation, electrical etc. Clean Carfax.
It gets a lot of looks, questions and comments when we take it out.
