I have 5 wires that are suppose to go into the power door lock housing (3 red, 2 black). I have no idea in what order they fit into the housing, just that they go into the housing to make the door locks work. There are six prongs (in the housing) and the wires slip over each prong, but again, I don't know the order. I pulled off the other door panel (RH) to see how it is set up, and found that the RH door is wired differently from the LH door. It seems that the LH door has 3 red wires and 2 black wires, while the RH door has 4 red wires and 1 black. I was hoping that I could figure out the left side from looking at the right side, but no way. The right side has 6 pins that make to door lock work. Pin 1 has nothing attached to it, pin 2 has a black wire attached to it, pins 3,4,5, and 6 have red wires attached to them. I assigned the pin numbers as follows; Pin 1 is top row, closest to rear of car. Pin 2 is top row, closest to front of car. Pin 3 is middle row, closest to rear of car. Pin 4 is middle row, closest to front of car. Pin 5 is bottom row, closest to rear of car. Pin 6 is bottom row, closest to front of car.
I do not currently know how to read a sematic, so I am at a loss at how to wire the LH power door lock. I need help.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
