Sockeye & I had a nice long telephone talk, (which was why I was "missing" from here, for a while.) He has one of the two units
made for 1988 in "Alpine Green" ~ These 2 cars were undocumentated
on the list of color breakout I have over on Hank's site. They were never originally listed by ascMcLaren. However, my contactS both told me that they exist. The Florida car was involved in a serious accident, and the owner faded away. No contact now in years. That car was an automatic. This car is a 5-speed. Both cars had the Tan roof & the Sand-Beige interior. I am hoping (and praying) for some photos. Alpine green, if any of you have a 1988 Ford TRUCK color chart is on there.

Sandy, does this raise the total count to 2,727 asc McLaren's, including the Grand Prix and Euro Coupes???

No, the one on the Fotki site is an owner re-do paint job. It is vastly brighter with more yellow in it than Alpine Green.
