1986 Coupe Rear Valance Filler Strip

I was looking to purchase the filler strip for the rear valance on a 1986 Coupe. I see on Hank's site a filler strip for the 87-88 Mustangs. Is that the same as would have been used on the 1986 Coupes? I appreciate any suggestions.

didnt yours have one when Hippy did the resto? and was it the original style or the replacement style hank is selling?

Great to hear from you. Carlisle seems forever ago. It was great meeting and talking with you.

Mine does have the filler strip from when Hippy had it restored. I have never seen an original one in person so I don't know if mine is original style or replacement style or the one Hank sells is original or replacement style.

If you shoot me a pic or 2, i can tell you.

when i put on my rear skirt on my other car this spring, i am thinking of not using Hanks replacement and go without the filler strip. was a bitch to put on & looks wrong. or maybe see if i can come up with a better looking/fit alternative.

i would like to find out what they used originally but nobody seems to know.
