I don't see any mention of Harry Holder F/L/M of Owensboro, KY but I know they sold them. That's where my love for these cars started.

Was just going over some of my "stuff". Still have the leather key fob that came with the my car when it was new. Dealer was, HINES PARK , PLYMOUTH MICH. That is for my PARIS BLUE convertible, SN 155 . And I "STILL ENJOY IT".

Hines Park: That's where I bought my original '85 Coupe in July 1985. Douchebags lied and told me I HAD to buy life and disability insurance. Caught them, they lied again.

Then, they kept my car six weeks aon a warranty issue and retuned it with 350 extra miles and coffee stains.

My 1986 ASC Capri Vert is a one owner car from Hines Park Lincoln Mercury my ASC was ordered by George Kobe ( Owner of Hines Park) back in Jan 1986 and it was sent by rail to their Dealership in Ocala Florida. Where Mr Kobe used it for a few years .

He passed in the mid 90's and car was returned to Plymouth Michigan where it was stored away about a mile from the dealership in a hidden heated garage. The car was then returned to the dealership in Plymouth and stored in the service department ...............Well they put it on the used car lot in Dec of 2009 the heart of the recession . When I saw with only 16,000 on it . Well I purchased it with ALL The paper work from Hines Park and ASC
a complete paper trail of the cars history. Mr Kobe never registered the car
, He drove it with a dealer plate on nice days. So I have the new car title as the first owner. She Runs strong!

I sold a decent pair of Marv Tonkin Ford license plate frames last year at the Portland swapmeet to a GT350 guy who couldn't find any for $100.

Hi, new to the Enthusiasts site. I bought a 1987 Ford Mustang McLaren # 165 from the original owner. Have original paper work. Car was bought from Rock River Ford, 224 N. Alpine, Rockford, Illinois, on 4/25/1988 at a cost of $21,900. Car was built at ASC/MCLAREN, 34165 AUTRY, LIVONIA, MI. and sent to Rock River Ford. Not sure on Hines Park /85 Coupes. The tread is just what has been contributed to by members, so i am sure it incomplete. the 1985 Motorsports dealers i posted above is complete.

Not exactly sure why, but a local MCHUGH LINCOLN-MERCURY OF LOS GATOS, INC. sold several early cars. In my data collection, I came across several single digit serial numbers sold by this dealer. I would expect they had an inside connection. Logic would expect the early cars to be sold in MI.

IIRC, in more recent years they were more associated with big money brands. The local area is know for having residents with deep pockets. Closed in 1995.
