DYK: I'm 32, been married for 7 years and have a 5 yo daughter and a 3 yo son
DYK: My son can spot a Mustang from 5 miles out - we're working on Capris. My daughter couldn't care less.
DYK: I'm a project manager for an environmental consulting/engineering firm and identify and clean-up hazardous materials associated with buildings/properties.
DYK: I moved into a new house in December and am still organizing things.
DYK: My wife hates riding in the 'vert because it messes up her hair.
DYK: Since getting my car, I'm a certified EBAYaholic.
DYK: I'm a huge sports fan (World Champion Red Sox baseball, World Champion Pats football, and URI college basketball)

My heartiest laugh, this year:-

"Getting the set of 85 Coupe seats stashed away unnoticed was a challenge."

I found it so hysterical - because I'VE done such, too !!

DYK: this is turning out o be a cool trend

DYK: I have a 1987 Dodge Ram 50 reg cab 2.0 4cyl 5 speed that i really enjoy driving i can park it anywhere with no fear of damage dents scratches i even leave the key in it do not care really a good outlet over caring for my other rides i recomend any of you pick up a sled like this one very inlightning!

I got 2 hoods, an extra dash, a capri front nose header panel all stashed away out of site. One hood is out in the open as she saw that when my dad brought the car down. The other is hidden behind a sheet of plywood and cardboard. The seats are up and in the "attic".

One thing that helps is to have a few good piles of parts here and there. How's she gonna notice one more box of NOS parts tossed on the parts heap?

The whole problem I'm going to be faced with is when she realizes that all of this is NOT needed to restore the car. I'm going to have to somehow explain to her that the "leftovers" are for future repair work and incidentals down the road. My interior resto is going well and I've still got 2 BIG boxes of NOS interior parts...that I haven't used because I have been able to use or refurbish what I have to satisfactory results.

None of this includes the parts at my dad's place...body parts, etc etc.

dyk - i have owned; '65 Falcon flop top in line six banger which had over 250.000 miles on it before the midwest cancer killed it, a '65 289 mustang flop top with over 190, 000 miles on it before cancer ended it's time, a '68 390 fastback mustang (all my dad's vehicles originally) before aquiring my '98 mustang GT and '85 ASC/McLaren (also was one of my dads last vehicles owned, God bless him as he passed on...) amongst numerous other Ford and non-Ford vehicles over the years...

Do not let them get to u Sandy, the "DYK" is not required to post...

Only if you bring you 86 Coupe and let me sit in it. No need to drive it, just trailer it down. You don't even have to start it up either...I just want to sit in it

That's like hooking up with the sexiest girl in the world in your eyes, and she tells you that you can do anything you want to her or with her, and you tell her that you want to go to the laundramat with her to do your laundry ?

No its not like that at all. Its like going out to dinner with your significant other and a group of friends and the hottest girl sits accross the table from you and you get to look at her all evening.

I don't know if my car would "approve" if I drove another asc. But I might get away with just sitting in another one
