just to let everyone know, i also own a 83 capri rs that has an 89 mustang 5.0 shell and drivetrain. eveything was transferred ovewr from the capri to the mustang, including the quarters, fenders, front and rear clips. the 83 is still under construction it is just a bare shell at the moment, under a complete ground up resto. the 89 mustang lx 5.0 came from california with no rust, which i bought from a local salvage yard for $500.00 because it was a impound car that the previous owner did not pick up in thirty days and pay his $100.00 fine and towing fee.(idiot). the 83 capri rs i purchased for $800.00 as a third owner, the previous owner let it sit in his gravel driveway for four years without driving it. when i started to restore it i did the full floor pan fixes and derusting then started on the motor. when the motor was removed i noticed the front subframe was completely rotted beyond repair. so now it has gone through the complete body make over but waiting for paint and reassembly.

thanks for your interest.

Sounds like the same car, but I thought his name was Mike. In Gurnee, Illinois, maybe. It's gotta be the same car.
