The term DSO has different meanings depending on what it's being used for. In the case of the door tag the first 2 digits are the District Sales Office and the district you car was built for is #23 or Memphis. The next 4 numbers indicate that the car was indeed a special order car since a regular production car would only have the first 2.
The DSO Sandy refers to is an internal Ford code used at the factory and it's D32.
You should have had a second body tag that read McLaren Coupe or something similar.
