speedometers

Post by Kyle »

man, there are plenty of 140 speedo's on ebay for the 87+ cars but never any for the 86- ones. Well, there is one on there now and its exactly what I need, it has the speedo and the tach, I'm still running with the 6k. Is anyone here going for it, I see one bidder and don't want to step on anyone's toes, I know there are people out there who need it more then me and it will probably go higher then I can afford anyway.

I think he's trying to get a correct looking one.

If looks are not critically important he can get a 170MPH BBK for like $60 or something which looks fairly stock.

AHHHHHHHH, should have bought it, went for $102 for the whole cluster, ah well, don't have the $ now anyway. Speaking of speedometers, i just broke my second cable tonight. The cables are breaking about 1 1/2 - 2 inches from the tranny end, any ideas?

The key word is "wife" That means you don't have to buy her presents anymore. She already got the best one, right?.........J/K had to do it. My wife is looking over my shoulder as I type this.

Looks like minimal fade.

The only way you are going to get one less is if you find one scrounging in a junk yard or some kind soul has one to offer you for less.

If I didn't have a 100% new, no fade cluster, I ight bid on it too...
