Picking up this cnversation again, here are the pics PETER sent me! This guy claims that he installed this package (sans side and rear mouldings) back in 1983 from ascMcLaren:
I just want to vote that I think this is the SAME air dam that the guy with the CC installed on his car in this magazine ad:
It definitely isn't what is pictured in the "Sport Package" brochure:
My speculation is that the sport package brochure is something VERY early and what was actually produced was different than the sales pitch that they threw together. The order form in the "Sports Package" doesn't even have an air dam that looks like the one on the cover.
Thoughts?

mike can you like not see its the EXACT same as the one on the sports package and i said he added the side skirts and rear valance later he got them from hank how long ago i dont know he did have head light covers too but they were not like the ASC covers at all...
try looking past the fog lights its the exact same air damn... like i said it had a finishing strip and side exstentions... it was all the exact same as mine but no fog light holes
I think that Crimson Cat picture is confusing you. The air dam is black and it has a front license plate, all of which conspire to make the lower vents quite elusive! I agree with tfs2121, I think they're one in the same.

mike the vent is behind the fog lights you think its diff cuz the pic of the white car dosent have fog lights this one the hole is hiding behind the fog lights as the bracket for the fog lights went through the vent hole
The way I found out the car is for sale is, this weekend (at the Columbus all Ford swap) his son was walking around with sign on his back with the car for sale. I stopped him, and chatted with him briefly about the car. He stated the car is as it was delivered from the dealer. I should have jotted down his phone number, but I slipped up and didn't. How many Crimson Cats do you think had the dealer installed ASC kit? Better yet, how many are still around and have low mileage? It would be a neat car to collect. One thing I did notice this weekend was the interest level of Capri's and special interest Capri's is on the rise!
