Guys,
Guess it's time to start thinking about assembling a binder of 1988 asc McLaren stuff, like I've done for my 93 CObra, 05 PT Cruiser Convertible and several of my past vehicles (66 & 68 Mustang, 79 Pace Car, 20th Anniversary, 86 SVO, 94 Pace Car). Anyone have any >good brochures, flyers etc they want to sell or trade?
Also, does anyone have a "list" on what literature and/or promotional materials were available in 1988? I have a 4 page list of stuff on the 1993 SVT Cobra, started one on the 94 Cobra. Even have a pretty good list documenting all the paint marks and stamps on the 93 CObra. Was anyone forward thinking enough to do that with the McLArens?

There were just 2 pieces of literature on each of the 1987 - 1989 ascMcLarens and 1 piece on the 1990. For each year there was a single page, printed in color, on both sides. For 1987 & 1988 they used the same brochure. It was a 4 page folder (no staples) in color. The only differance was there was no cover or inside "1987" ON the 1987, only a print date in tiny numbers on the back cover's lowest corner, I think 8/87. The 1988 version had " 1988 " on the cover and added Medium Regatta Blue on the color listing on the back cover.
The 1989 opened like a road map into a big poster and was unique.
The 1990 was only the single page 8x11 color flyer.
All but the 1990 come up on e-bay rather frequently, running around $12 dollars or so >>>>USUALLY !
At this point, you probably know more about the cars than the brochures tell of them !

The 89 shows it in Keweenau White with the blue interior,
the 90 shows it in Sea Foam Aqua with the new-for-90 White interior.
