I believe that car did have a back seat. That car was sold under several different names, ONE of which was Tomaso. I have that brochure you pasted as well as another company, making the identical car, outta Brooklyn New York, and one from Florida as well. I also have the entire story on them should you care.

There others as well, that I have the dope on. "The Pony" from A.H.A. )Andrew H. Hotton formerely of Belleville Michigan and then of Ontario, Canada, and yet others.... I have all brochures and ordering info. They began in 1980 and were all snuffed out by 1983, when Ford made the Convertible on the Fox platform.

What is the "pony" out of Belleview MI for I use to go there almost everday in 86-93 having grow up in Ann Arbor

It was a 4-passenger 1979-1980 Convertible based upon a Mercury Capri doner car.
