I know it is not an ASC but it is one nice cream puff thought you guys might like to ck out what a nice original one looks like and would consider a poss trade.

Did you post this on FEP....they have a "non four eyed" section for Fairmonts, Zeohyrs, Cougars, etc etc.

Besides a sweet mint Futura the first few things I thought of were:

1. Fuel injected V8 conversion (347 stroker with a blower)
2. 5-speed conversion
3. Polished phone dials with chubby drag radials
4. Lightly tinted windows

Speaking of sleepers this reminds me of the LTD II they used to have. They had a nice limited edition showroom sleeper with the 5.0L w/175hp at one time. Once the Taurus replaced this car they later made the SHO which turned out to be another nice sleeper. I wish they would do something like that again or at least in the Lincoln line up. Something special about a hot rod Lincoln.

I called the guy said it had 140k

not to bad for an 84 but ideal one would be a black low mile 85. Also in case you guys did not know Mercury built a LTS Marquis V8 version of the LX super rare anyone ever seen one of those? http://home.earthlink.net/~jopeterson/LTS.htm

The little beauty has been sold the guy flat loves it he had a special effection for those like me so it went to a great home he said he was going to use it to drive on sundays for church and keep it garaged so she may stay preserved

I had another buyer that really wanted it and actually offered a little bit more but he definatley was not a car guy and seemed very squarrley and i felt car would langush!
