Much rarer then Saleens. But if you mean as far as spotting them perhaps were you live thats the case. I've seen one or two ASC's in the past few years on Long Island and numerous Saleens.

rare

that is true with all the 281 saleens running around. I am still looking for a 94 - 98 351 saleen on the road like mine, I guess all the 351's run crappy so no one drives them like mine! Damn I hope the guy finishes my paint on the McLarensoon so I can drop the top and go for a ride.

Do they run crappy? Also how do they compare to a 95 Cobra R?

351 saleen vs 95 Cobra R

Post by apecx »

Well in 1995 the stock 351 saleen was rated at 375 horse, the Cobra r 300, and the Saleen R codes with the vortech was rated at 495 horse. I road in my car at watkins Glenn before buying it 2 years later, and the next day road in the guys 95 Cobra R. Was not inpersted with the 300 horses. The car is just to heavy I think. Still had the window sticker on it! For $50k? I would consider something else.
