Okay - $10,000 plus 1,000 hours of labor, so, at my Ford dealer in N.J. the labor rate is $85.00 @ hour. Your labor is free? Of course not ! So, if you were doing the work, we'll say, for ME, would you NOT charge me at least $6,000 ?? Okay ~ I paid $16,000 for mine NEW >> NEW and everyone said I was nuts !! :)

Don't invest more than 15% of what you are willing to lose, when you want out of the hobby. Marriage, infants, children, business, college change a whole lot. Be careful. Enjoy, have fun, don't lose sight of what your are spending. Watch the pot holes, Oops, I mean pitfalls. :)

Sandy $16,000 I'll take it! :shock:

My labor luckly is free. No better Father and Son time can be found in my eyes. We put a windshield in the white one this weekend. Next weekend we weld up the floor :D

$16,000 was alot of "car Money" in 1986. Today, a new car for $16,000 would be the cheapest Kia or Hyundai, with no options.
