This Chris agrees w/ the other Chris.

The "Tough Times" have hurt the value of all cars.

I also agree that sellers have cut their own throats. I'm going to use myself as an example. ProTouring sold me a very solid and a very nice car, cheap. The top was the wrong color, and the electric motor was broke. The wheels were long gone and a small tear in the leather on the driver side. Oh, the radio isn't stock either, but WC, not a deal breaker.

Imho, if he would have put $3000 into that car, he would have made that back and an aditional $4000 over what he sold it for. Honestly, the car is that solid, and it is a 1 of!

The car doesn't have to be perfect to pull $10-15K. It has to be under 60K miles, and It Must Look Good!

Lol, Put a set a Cobra R's (approx $600) on her and ask $3000 more for her. The stock wheels you can "give" the buyer.
I wish blue jeans, old cars, and boots would go out of style.

Call me selfish, but as an enthusiast of these cars, I actually like that they are relatively unknown except to us and thus the prices stay low. High values are only good when you want to sell. When you want to buy, it's better for the values to be low.

Ya, I understand higher values make it easier to justify the restoration expense, but then who would drive them? I like Challenger T/A's a lot too, but will never own one as I won't put that kinda' money into something that I would be to afraid to drive and enjoy in the manner it was intended to be used.

Be careful what you wish for. If you like the cars, rejoice in their affordability; and think of it this way - would you have acquired yours if you would have had to pay a higher value along the lines of what we all think they should worth?
