David, I'm not 100% sure that I will going yet but I sure would like to check it out. What time do you plan leaving?

Thanks for the condolences, guys. My Dad is really taking it hard. This was his oldest living brother and his mentor.
He(my dad) was flying in from Vegas this friday for the cruise and to spend some time with my uncle. It crushed him to find out Monday my uncle had passed. I'd never heard my Dad cry before. That was surreal.

At any rate, I appreciate everyones heartfelt condolences and please forgive me for venting. Chuck

My deepest sympathies to you and your family, Peter. I know your pain all too well.
I'll include you in my prayers and try to enjoy yourself, I'm sure your Grandfather would want you to. Chuck

My best wishes go out to all of you. Family is the most important thing you have in this life.

We have had close family members die in the last 3 consecutive Januarys. (Grandfather, Uncle, Grandmother).

Needless to say the family is absolutely DREADING the end of this year. And of course my cousin Tim is set to ship out to Iraq this fall...I don't think we could handle another funeral...

Anyways...for those going to Woodword...have fun and take some PICTURES! Someday I hope to get there too.

Chuck, it's never easy for anyone. If it's even a tiny bit of consolation to you, we here, in my house, have NO holidays! My wife's Mom died on New Year's Day, My own Mom died on the 4th of July. My wife's Dad died on the eve of Thanksgiving, and my Dad died on Labor Day. Memorial Day & Valantine's Day(s) are as yet, unscathed.

This thing called the internet truly CAN be a community unto itself.
I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your kind thoughts.

Peter, how far is that from Vinsetta garage and is it on the same side of Woodward? I may jump on my bike mid afternoon and come out just to clear my head.

Mike, one of my brothers has been in Iraq for over a year now. I dread watching the news every night. We can only pray that God watches over them.

Sandy, there is one more very important holiday you have left; Jesus' day, Christmas!!! :D God does comfort and watch over us.

Ironically,I was supposed to be on vacation this week to take my son back to school down in Mississippi. We were supposed to leave Sunday. I can only imagine what condition I would have been in getting that call on the road. Chuck

I'll be at the Eaton hospitality area, snapping pictures of all the Mclarens and Capri's I see, slow down and wave! I'll be the big guy (5'11 270) with no neck and dark hair and a bit of belly ( married life), with a handsome blond hair and blue eyed 4 year old little boy sitting by my side ( thank god he got his looks from his mother). He'll be shouting look at that Capri or Mustang depending on which goes by! WAVE and YELL "HELLO"

David

P.S. We will be cruising in my 98 Cobra Convert, Triple black.
