i think we are confused about the color break out that i posted above. it only shows 1 paris blue combo. on the second list it shows 2 paris blue combos. paris blue with blue and blue. and paris blue with black and black.

uman has a blue blue blue. his car is NOT a SS. the color brake down i posted shows 12 paris blue with blue and blue and denotes SS. maybe it was the blue black black that made the SS.

asc dident keep good records.

i guess what the real question is what is the 1986 vert color break down?

yeah sandy thats the color break down im talking about. it only lists 12 paris blue cars. ALL with blue and blue.

in another posting you had 2 paris blue combos for 86 blue blue blue and bluie black black

uman has a blue blue blue car like one of the 12 in your link. BUT its not one of the 12 SS.

if you follow the link sandy posted it would make me think that ALL 86 verts in Paris blue are SS.

No, they are NOT ! 14 Spring Specials were made. It was pretty evenly split between Sterling Silver & Paris Blue. I have pics of '86 Paris Blue(s) that are not Spring specials.
appox. 7 & 7 .... coulda been 8 & 6 or such - but close.

Hi, Well now that issue is laid to rest . I will not have to change my info placard, that I use for car shows. My 3x blue vert , is still 1 of 12. And that makes me happy. Is this the only " color speed bump" , that you guys have had to deal with? Once more. I thank you for all the info.

its a speed bump every day thanks to ASC... there is alot of grey area when it comes to our cars.

sandy you should edit that link you posted. it looks like all 12 paris blue cars were SS

so one more question. what about this link

http://www.ascmclaren.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=164

it lists a paris blue with charcoal interior and black top for 1986.

were none orderd like this?

Nothing wrong with that link! It was asc McLaren's listing of preferred combos. they'd make anything ya wanted, however. If you wanted a black car with a blue top, and grey interior....NO PROBLEM!

Hi, Just look at how cut and dry it would be if we all Chevy's or even a Rambler. Oh MY, What a Drag that would be! I guess there is a price to be paid for the fun of being different. But I love every bit of it!
