1988 asc mclaren help

bought an 88 mclaren mustang #1077. i need help. i decoded the ford tag but cant a mclaren tag. i really would like to get the correct color code. the car is a dark metallic blue with a blue top and interior. it also came with recarro seats. its really a pretty neat car but is in need of lots of lovin. i have e-mailed sandy and got no response. is the registry published ? if so, how may i obtain a copy ? i am also intrested in any other information printed about these cars. i have been into shelbys for years and now i want to get started with another specialty mustang. if any one has any info or can point me in the right direction i would be grateful. thanks. leon

I have no record of your e-mail. E-Mails that I get, whose e-mail address is NOT familiar to me, AND do NOT say McLaren or ascMcLaren or Info on my ascMcLaren or something similiar, get deleted without being opened. Ditto if it's not from a familiar sender and the subject is blank.

Now, that said, your 1077 means that it is the 598th 1988 made. (You must subtract the 479 made for 1987, from the 1,077.

Your paint color is called "Atlantic Blue Metallic" BY ascMcLaren. It is REALLY Lincoln's "Shadow Blue Metallic", Code 7C from 1986.

Regarding the Registry, no, it is not published for reason(s). If you'd like to be included on it, send to me your car's VIN ~ Dash Plaque # (yes, again) and your full name & address & email & Phone #.
