Moving this to the asc discussion area.

NO TALKING ABOUT ASC CARS in the "IT'S YOUR CALL" AREA! :D

One reason is that that area trims itself over time. So we want to keep any asc posts for the future.

I would not buy that Squire because it's missing its "T" from LTD on the hood.

I would be a great grandfather before a proper year "T" could be located.
Sandy passed away in 2012. He will be forever missed.

Well, that wagon sure brings back some childhood memories.. I remember going to the drive-in movies with my parents.
Back in the early 70's we had one just like it.

I once wnet to camp in a wagon like that... You could get 12 ten year olds in it plus two adults. It had starting issues and our councelor was using an ink pen to keep the carb/ choke open. Well you guessed it... it fell into the intake and we ran around back (kids being kids) to see if it would come out the back... IT DID in many pieces. Those were the days (before cataletic converters)

I love the 73 to 78 LTD country squire wagons my mom has a nice 73 that she bought new and had it all the options she sold it in the 80's. Latley i have the bug for one I have been searching for another in the past year or so and got outbid on the bay on a sweet 18k mile 76 that i wanted it went for mid 8's :shock: I will find the right green one someday :wink:
