STICKER SHOCK...well stickers anyway.

My 85 Mclaren vin 615312 has a mustang sticker with tire sizes and specs in the pass. door jam and 85 Mclaren 607846 has Capri sticker with same on its pass door jam. I know the Capri should be correct, how many other owners have Mustang stickers?

There might be quite a few with Mustang stickers since they were made on the same line, but wouldn't they have made short runs of Capris rather than just throwing one in line randomly? Also Mclaren probably bought "blocks" of cars that would all run through the lines back to back wouldn't they? That might eliminate the error of the wrong stickers. Anyone else have a Capri sticker in their pass. door jam?

I have a 86 Eurocoupe with a sticker on the pass. side that reads MUSTANG/CAPRI

Units ordered by ascMcLaren ran down the line in sequence, and traveled together as a group, right down thru transportation and arrival into ascMcLaren's rail-yard and into the storage lot. Then they got split up & out of order.

Really a combo sticker? In the pass door jam with tire info? I have to admit that I am not sure which sticker my 86 mclaren vert had but aside from the 2 Mclarens I mentioned I also have a 85 Mustang GT that has a Mustang sticker, an 83 Capri with a Capri sticker and an 86 Merkur with an XR4TI sticker in the same location. You have one that has in the big black square, upper left corner in black, MUSTANG/CAPRI?

My sticker is silver and is 2"X3". I put a picture in my album of it.

Yea Zeke that is the sticker. Obviously there could be one of three different stickers in any of our Mclarens then. The Mustang, The Capri, or The Mustang/Capri like you got.
