1987 ASC McLaren #161 series 1 heading to the grave?

Post by ASCMCLRN »

1987 ASC McLaren #161 series 1 heading to the grave? This car has been posted in here before however the owner seems quite adamant about getting his price or parting it out if he doesn't, sigh. :(

As per add: "Well since no one wants give me 55 hundred for my 1987 McClaren mustang, I might as well part it. I dont want to but have no room for her."

Nick

does sandy have any info on #161. i see he has had it repainted, but what is it's original status? i'd hate to see it go by the way side. I wonder if he has posted it on the mustang trader. a lot of people were asking me about my mclaren at FFF and where to pick one up in good condition.

Only the stuff I got off his prior ads, like # 161 Somerville, NJ, etc. Nothing from the distant past. There are lots of good little parts on there, but nowhere near 5 grand worth. Perhaps $800 worth at best. I have no place to park it at while being "undressed" ~

Seller maybe trying reverse psychology trying to get someone to bite on sale. That would not be the best route to pull a few good pieces the you have nothing but a yard ornament

Ok, so I'm confused. Is this car put back together? or is it an unfinished project?

Doesn't Hank buy these type of cars?

If its all done and put together, I can't believe he'd part it out.......

I can be stubborn too at times but I also have a sense of reality. You can't throw a temper tantrum if someone doesn't give you what you alone think its worth. Color and options play a part, I don't think that white cars bring the $$$ compared with other colors.
