Wheel center emblems

Hi All-

We just subscribed to DSL, I will now be able to post pictures of the Center Emblems & 1/4 Window Decals next week when received. I am still trying to learn the process... please bear with me.

Hi All-

I stopped by the shop today to inspect the production run of the wheel center emblems. All 5 color combinations will be available. The run is scheduled for gelling in the morning and will cure 72hrs. They are looking FANTASTIC, exceeding my expectations.
I am due to pick them up on Monday, June 25th. I will post an ordering thread in the classified section this weekend. I also received the 1st order of the ASC McLaren 1/4 window decals today. Extremely nice, I am developing a removal/installation template and instructions that will accompany all orders. I will also be posting pictures of all items very soon.
I am also meeting with another engineer and hopefully will have some VERY exciting info on some more parts to come!!! Until then, Thank you for your interest.

Hi All-

I received my initial order of the reproduction ASC McLaren wheel center overlays from my graphics vendor. Great & Not so good news.

Great News- The finish quality of the overlays is outstanding, they have an excellent color/contrast & adhesion. Application is very simple and straight forward.

Not So Good News- During the urethane gel/cure cycle, there was a larger shrinkage rate exceeding estimates. Final sizing came out to 1.608" in dia.

The Solution- I am having the entire production run, redone to increase the font & final sizing format. The replacement run will take an additional 7-10 days due to material ordering lead time. I will only offer for sale these parts to my satisfactory specifications.

I have also reconfigured the 1/4 window decals from a clear film to a black film to allow better contrast on the black plexi 1/4 windows. (The original ASC McLaren 1/4 decals are on a clear film which hazes terribly due to age. My clear film allowed the same opaqueness as the NOS decal, by using a black film background will allow better contrast) I should have the final decals in hand within 7 days as well.

All is not lost from this "prototype" production run as I am looking into using this 1st lot for use as keychain fobs or similar ideas, your input is appreciated. I will post another update from the re-run late this week.
