Hi all,
I just picked these up today dirt cheap. They're Roush Racing 17X7 4-lug wheels. I am thinking about maybe painting these to match the car.
Either orange to match the stripes or Blue to match paint with an ASC emblem in the center.
What do you think?
Thanks,
Mike

I'm hoping that with a 225/40/17 tire they will be fine. Yeh that would be great if someone could photoshop them. I had a set of 17's on my 89 with 215/50 tires that didn't rub so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I had 17's on mine with no issues. I used 225/45/17's in the front.
The wheels are 17" x 9" so I had to install one more rack limiter on each side. Turning radius sucks but I don't get any wheel rub that will cause concern.
Well I installed the driver's side wheels today. Looks like there will be no problem with clearence on the front tires. I did notice the backspacing on the rear wheels if off though. It sits too far in the wheelwell. I guess it is time to pick up that turbo coupe rearend that I have been wanting.
By the way, how wide of a tire can fit on a 7" rim?

I finally went ahead and got the Cobra Rs for mine. 17x8s for the front/17x9s for the rear - tires are all 255/40/17s. They look GREAT, however I do have some rubbing in the front. I'm currently trying to figure out how to solve the problem. Wondering if I put 235s or 225s on the front will work. Or if I'm going to have to put steering limiters on it.
I'll have pictures up soon. I can't believe how it changes the look of the car.
