The clock is probably the root of the problem. why won't it let you fix it?
I know if I put my clock back a month or year, I won't get the posts to clear out like you're seeing.

Open the Local Security Policy Applet:
Start->Settings->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Local Security Policy
If you can get that far then go to:
Security Settings->Local Policies->User Rights Assignment->Change the System Time
Double click on that entry.
Click Add User or Group Button.
Type "Everyone" into the box.
Hit OK.
Hit "Apply" (do not hit ok leave the window open with the list of users)
Change the time if you can.
Remove "Everyone" from the list of user's/groups. Hit OK and exit the Local Policy Editor.
My assumption is that you can't get very far...it depends on how locked down the PC is.
