to see how you feel?
He said that I did extremely well, for the seriousness of the surgery. We made an appt. for Friday the 30th (this Friday) at noon. I asked if he got it all out, and he said yes, but still wants me to have "a couple" sessions of Chemo, "later" ( ? ) I am much better today. Still pain, but I am more able to deal with it. Had first solid food, a slice of toast with butter & grape jelly on it and a flat soda (3 Oz.) I cannot take carbonation, so I pour a glass, cover it with clear warp to keep clean and give it 3 hours to lose the fizz. I have a very caring "old school" Doctor. 'Ya kno, takes his time, dots every "i" - ponders, checks and check again. Makes the patient feel secure. I cannot drive until March. I am happy to be alive, and have such a fantastic support crew as all of you. I appreciate it.

I guess it's really sad when one can mentally recall the EXACT mileage on each car.
