Hey guys, as mention in the thread about adding teh Euorcoupe to the collection I mentioned I intended to give my dad the vert. He and mom arrived yesterday afternoon. As I knew he would, he gravitated towards the vert, all afternoon. Tab says I need to go to the store for some milk. Come on Dad! Let's ride together. So, fire up the vert and head that way. He is asking all sorts of questions about the car. Going great. We get to the store, I ask, "you like this little car?" "Well, of course, it's a convertable, what's not to like?" "GOOD," I say, "it is yours" I tell you what, not seen a car sparkle in his eyes in many years. He instantly went into car mode with plans for it, etc. Said he would like to respray it the correct color, add mesh wheels, etc. Really made my day to see him SO excited about the car.
I told him about this forum, so look for him to join in a month or so when I actually transfer the car to his place. Cannot do anything till end of Jan, when my wife's 40th b-day is. She is getting a new car, does not know that right now. So, have to not let her see the vert leave till after the gid day.
