Stock radio help

Has anyone ever successfully changed the bulb(?) for the digital display on the stock FoMoCo premium sound head unit? If so, I'd welcome any advice on what needs to be replaced.

The numbers work because I can see them indicating the proper station/time in bright sunlight, but they just don't light up. Thanks!

The bulb can be replaced. You have to open the radio and it is a very small bulb. We use to get them at the ford dealers. I don't know if they still have them. It is nothing very difficult.

Thanks for the advice. Maybe Green Supply will have them if the dealer doesn't.

I checked and the FORD part number is CLB 37. It's bulb will be a little smaller but it does the job. This can also be a aftermarket number you can check. Hope this help!
