I guess this is the person who picked it up at B.J. Scottsdale auction for $6500... Just noticed the dash plaque looks like it says "Limited Edition #49 of 50" then in the photos it looks like on the pass. side there's a 85 style plaque with #34 on it. Odd.
Well, since I posted the price from the auction, I guess we all know how much he paid for it. $6500 plus all of the fees. Wonder if he thinks he can make some money off of it.

Considering the BIN is $17.5k, yeah he's hoping for some easy money.
Apparently being in BJ adds about $10k to a car's value...

The car looks excellent, especially when compared to others out there.
I agree. The car *should* be a $10k-12k car IMHO.
However, its an 84 and it suffers from not being an 85/86 which is the sweet spot for the 4I cars. The 79-84 cars, all of them, take a beating price wise.

Car has had way too many owners, flipping it too fast. I'd be pretty turned off by that. What's wrong with it. You'll notice that they do not try & sell it locally, where a buyer can try it - but it's always being hawlked on the web, where buyers pay up front & await delivery 1/2 way across the USA. That's not the way to buy a used car.

That is how i sold Just about all my ASC's and buyers have been happy! The internet is a good tool for selling these specialty vehicles otherwise i may have 15 of these sitting around And local buyers are very limited even in the Atl car market!

I thought for many, the '84 was highly sought after since it was the first year? plus, not many were made, right? I never hear of '84 ASCs for sale in the Capri realm. They are always '85s and '86s.

You would think so, but 84s don't seem to bring any more money than 85/86 cars with 86 leading the way.

I was myself looking for a 84 but I bought an 86 because of the engine wich is much easier to find EFI parts instead of that central injection engine on 84 and 85.
