what was the factory tire size for the 15 inch wheels?

Depends what year. 225/60-15 (like the standard mustangs GT's) for the 87 and up mustang/McLaren verts.

84-86 coupes got 225/50VR15 not sure on the verts sandy will be around soon...

and jason is right about the mustangs

ok thanks. it has 215-60-15 on it now and i need to get some different ones because they are dry rotted and it wabbles at 25 mph.

I am pretty sure that's what is on my 2. They are not living at home, right now, so it's kinda hard for me to check.

Could be 225 / 60 ... not 50 - not sure.

My coupe has 225 60 r15 on it. The original owner replaced the tires
with The Godyear Eagles. He say's he replaced with original tire size.

Is your speedo off at 60mph? If so, I bet he didn't get the right tires.
