Please tell me if ANYONE here has a 1987 ascMcLaren with the following normally optional FORD options:

1.) FORD Graphic Equalizer, beneath the Stereo. Says "Ford" on it.
2.) ELECTRIC exterior dual mirrors - Control buttons on the console.
3.) Dual Illuminated Visor Vanity Mirrors.

This pertains ONLY to 1987 model year ascMcLarens.......

Okay, I gues nobody has these items on their McLaren convert.
Here's the thing.......

In 87-90 There were equipment groups. If a dealer ordered a group there was a savings, pricewise, over ordering the same options 1 at a time. Anywhere from $400 to $800 dollars, depending upon other options.
But...
it looks like Ford kinda stuck it to McLaren, and then the "favor" got stuck on the dealer and then the dealer passed the extra money onto the 1st retail buyer.

Why? Because Ford put everything on the car one option at a time, omitting all of the $$$ saving groups ! The overpaying first him ascMcLaren, then the original ordering retail sales dealer who then passed it onto the original buyer.

Cute on Ford's part, for sure !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
