If ya didn't notice.....I've been gone exactly 1 week. A big bad computer virus took me down. My "Main Man" that come to the house to fix such things, was home sick with the Swine Flu. SOOoo, a long wait to get it fixed, which he did a great job. I was off from last Friday night, the 16th until an hour ago. 7 days. It's good to be back

Welcome back. We had our fall car show Saturday and it turned out great. I'm back to being the only McLaren in the club that shows my car.

Hank, I showed my '86 Coupe in the town I live in - where they have a car show every Wednesday eve from 6PM to 9PM from June 15 thru August 31st, on every Wednesday, weather permitting. I took the Coupe to THE final show (Last Wednesday of August) and I took the Silver Anniversary '90 'Vert to a show in June. I forget which one of the 2, but I think the 1st one.
If ya go to a "bring whatever ya got" car show - few look at McLarens, as it's "Just ANOTHER Mustang" ~ ~ but if 'ya go to a MUSTANG SHOW, these cars get alot of lOOOkers ! My wife stays with the car (as protection) and I look around. Later she looks around & I stay with the car. I will not leave them alone !

I like going to cruise nights. There are several that are year round out here. Our Saturday show was one of our twice a year big trophy shows (150 cars). I lost one original center cap on the way home-alittle distraught over that.

I learned two things: Put a sign on the windshield explaining what it is, and leave the top cover in the up position. Makes lots of people walk over-even in an all car display.

I have a photo of "her" AT ascMcLaren, just prior to surgery!!
A nice white LX Coupe with a 302V8 with Blue interior.
I show that.....sometimes. Most visitors are so overcome by the number
of cars that very little sicks in their brain. Think 6 year old in a Toy R Us, for the first time syndrome !

I used to display the photos you sent me from ASC but I afraid someone would take them. Now they stay in my album.

True. They overload easily.
