All asc's were made under code d32.
On the 84-86 capris how did a ford know if it was to be built as a coupe or a convertable?

Comments at the bottom of build sheets taped to various parts of the body and sub-assemblies indicated what it would eventually become at asc and what the assembly line at Dearborn was to add or remove before it got there.

Ford assembly line know wich car will be a convertible. They have a BUCK tag in the radiator support. Clic on the link to see the one from my car.
