Up for auction is a beautiful and rare ASC McLaren Convertible. This is a 5.0 V8, 5-Speed car. Just over 21,000 original miles! This car has been owned for the last several years by a car enthusiast who took great care of it. The car runs & drives beautifully. Recent complete repaint (under hood, door jambs, trunk, etc.) of the original Porsche Guards Red color. The repaint was expensive and of high quality, the car looks fantastic! The tan top is free of rips or tears. The Tan Leather Recaro seats were completely reupholstered as well. Factory 140mph speedometer. Recent full tune up. Tires and brakes are great. Car needs nothing, just get in and drive!!

There are 2 red 1985 asc McLarens for sale on ebay. The one referenced by FoxChassis does not appear to be an after market replacement top, however the other car does not have the correct stitching and looks to be an over sized replacement on the plastic windows.Kentennis wrote:I got a reply from the seller. Maybe you grew up with computers, but I didn't get my first one till I was in my 60's, 10 years ago. I am self taught. I use it mainly for keeping in touch with the family and for my investing.
You have no idea of how long it took me just to teach myself how to post pictures.

When you see an ebay ad, use your mouse and highlight the text in the address bar.
Right click with your mouse on it, a pop up menu will appear (this is true of any text you highlight on the system).
Choose "copy" with a left click.
Right click on the text box where you are typing text to post here.
Left click on "paste".

I went to Ebay, followed the directions and nothing went anywhere. I was still in Ebay wondering, "How do I get this to ASC?"
