ASC Purchase

Post by Tx Trooperstang »

Hey gang, I have been here for just a short time. I recently purchased 88 #1079 Azura Blue. Was daily driven for over 10 years and puchased by a collector in 2001 and driven very little since 2003 when the owner passed away in 2008. I bought from the gentleman who bought it from the Estate. It has around 80,000. Someone changed the speedo from the 85 MPH to a 140 MPH . It came with some of the original Window Stickers and Repair invoices as well as ASC Literature.Itdoes show Daily use evidence on the Lower Panels and theSeat covers need replacing the Wing was held on by a thread and I am working out how to go about repairingthe mounting bolts as I think I have only one original. The Engine compartment is not bad and evenhas the 88 date coded wires. Needs a Heater Core,2 Center Caps, Wheels refinished and later a Paint job. I have talked to Henery and am tring to get a Parts list togther of what I need.
My other vehicle is an 89 Special Service Mustang Ex TexasDPS Restored Mustang. I look forward to learning more about these cars.

Tom
