I have a 1986 ASC McLaren convertible with, I believe, some electrical issues. The power door locks don't work (both of them), and the fog lights, nor dash instrument lights work (but high beam light works). I'm hoping that is only a fuse issue and all I have to do is check the fuse bock and replace the fuses that are out. This is where my problem starts. I can't find it (the fuse box). The book says it under the left front dash, but I can't find it. I see a little yellow box that looks sealed and hard to get to... is that it? Any direction would be greatly appreciated, as I'm getting very frustrated.
thanks,
I think I have an electrical problem

Electrical problems

The door locks work off a 20 amp circuit beaker that is located in the far right in the middle of the fuse box. The power comes from the solenoid on the inside of the fender well near the battery. It could be a bad fuse link. You will need to test with a test light to see why you are not getting power to the other items. look at the solenoid and you will see wires that go down a bit . Look at the small molded squares in each wire, These "break" inside and the power is cut off at that point. One could be bad which is why these other accessories do not work. Check the power on both sides of the link by clipping the ground of the test light to the battery and push the tip into the wire ti see if it lights up
Good Luck
