'89 Wheel/Center Cap questions

Hi All,

I have an '89 with the original wheels. The center caps are machined aluminum with an etched logo. The wheels are/were clear coated aluminum.

I just received a used wheel from Ebay. The center cap is machined aluminum, but the logo painted on. The wheel has a grey coating in the wheel opening area, where my wheels are just a natural finish.

Are these '90 wheel and center cap? Would it be correct to refinish my wheels with the grey paint in the natural areas?
