83 Capri RS Turbo correction

your top 14 list of rarest capri's has "#11 at 381 made the "Charcoal" Turbo R/S of 1983 "

this is wrong.
the 1984 RS Turbo was exclusivly Charcoal, but the 1983 was available in all different colors. the 381 produced in 83 were all solid colors.

so the 83 turbo rs is still the 11th rarest capri. but they werent all charcoal.

You are correct and in addition to those there were 17 - 1982 Turbo Capri(s) made in various colors, I'd assume.....

Well, Sandy's original list says 1981 they made 17.

Sandy's very close and highly respected friend Sessler says the same thing. (lil joke) (Sandy, did Sessler got that number from you?)

The Capri Product Fact books say there was NO turbo engine option for 81 OR 82. If I was to blindly pick one, I would say the 17 were from 1981....very early 1981 cars that were probbaly leftovers from 1980. But that is just what I would think would be logical.

In 1983 of course they officially brought it back into the line-up and in 1984 made the special Charcoal edition.

NO Turbos were made in 1981. 1982 they were at the tail end of 1982 production, and only 17 were made! They were ALL 1982s. No 1981 Turbo Capris were made!! Only Peter Sessler has seen one !

OK. But the original list you posted had 1981 for the 17.
